I\u2019m Tinuade Oguntuyi \u2014 a wife, a mother, a voice, and God\u2019s beloved. I am also a telecommunications executive, a STEM advocate, and a builder of digital bridges for the future of Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From leading high-impact infrastructure projects across Nigeria to mentoring young women in STEM, my journey is rooted in one truth: technology should empower, not exclude. As General Manager, Technical at Information Connectivity Solutions Limited (ICSL), I oversee the design and deployment of connectivity solutions that leverage fiber optics, microwave, satellite, SIM, cloud, and AI, helping deliver meaningful access to communities that have long been left behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Motherhood, Leadership, and Legacy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, motherhood and leadership are not separate paths\u2014they are intertwined. I see the world through the lens of both an engineer and a nurturer. That duality shapes how I lead, whether driving market share growth through innovation or mentoring the next generation of girls in tech. I understand the weight of representation. When young women see someone who looks like them delivering nationwide telecom solutions, they begin to believe that they, too, belong in rooms where technology decisions are made.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a mother, I think of the internet not just as infrastructure but as opportunity\u2014a tool that must be safe, inclusive, and available to all, especially in rural areas where connectivity remains a privilege, not a right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Rural Networks to Global Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over 14 years of experience in telecoms and intelligent systems, I\u2019ve executed over 30 large-scale network infrastructure projects across sectors like education, government, and finance, some in underserved communities powered by renewable energy. Each project tells a story of access gained, of futures unlocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This passion led me to establish the TinuAdeniyi Tech Foundation, a community-driven initiative that empowers marginalized and minority groups with practical STEM skills. I also serve on the advisory board of W.TEC (Women\u2019s Technology Empowerment Centre) and as Co-Chair of the Internet Society Nigeria Chapter’s Infrastructure Working Group, where I advocate for digital inclusion and contribute to policy shaping around internet governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#builtbymothers \u2014 In Heart, Vision, and Action<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Mother\u2019s Day, I am reminded that the future is being #BuiltByMothers. We nurture more than children\u2014we nurture nations, ideas, and technological legacies. Whether I\u2019m managing complex deployments or mentoring young women globally, I lead with the same spirit: one of strength, care, and purpose.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe Africa\u2019s next generation of tech leaders, especially girls, deserve spaces where they are not just included, but respected. Spaces where innovation is not imported, but homegrown. Where leadership is measured not only by achievements, but by true impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My story is not just mine\u2014it is a collective story of African women rising, building, and transforming. And the work continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Africa\u2019s digital future is being paved by women who dare to dream, build, and lead\u2014mothers, mentors, makers. Let\u2019s keep the path clear, open, and powerful for those coming next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tinuade Oguntuyi is a multi-award-winning technology leader with over fourteen years of experience in telecoms, IP networks, intelligent systems, and infrastructure design. Holding a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University<\/a>, Tinuade has furthered her expertise through mMBAs in Telecoms and Business Innovation, with an Executive Master\u2019s in Entrepreneurship and Innovation in progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passionate about STEM inclusion, she founded the TinuAdeniyi Tech Foundation, dedicated to equipping marginalized groups with practical STEM skills, and serves on the advisory board of the Women\u2019s Technology Empowerment Centre. As Co-Chair of the Internet Society\u2019s Infrastructure, Access, and Connectivity Working Group (Nigeria Chapter), she leads initiatives to expand internet access in underserved areas. Tinuade has been recognized globally, earning accolades such as 50 African Women in Tech, Female Innovator of the Year (shortlisted), and Techlife Woman of Impact of the Year, while actively mentoring and advocating for women and girls in STEM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
